Location: Festus, Missouri. Duration: contract through November 2013 Responsibilities: In this position, the HR Representative responsibilities include, but are not be limited to: Providing an advisory and consultancy service to staff and management on a range of human resource issues, procedures and policies consistent with employee standards, legislation and guidelines. Liaison between employees, management and company ensuring the effective high quality delivery of service. Undertaking internal reviews, coordinating external reviews and advising on related processes as needed. Providing an efficient and reactive consultancy service to staff and senior management. Undertaking quality assurance checks and with external consultants and management to ensure effective meeting of guidelines and standards. Investigating, researching and preparing brief notes or reports on new policies, procedures, and practices of human resources to ensure accurate service delivery. This role
involves a generalist approach to the HR function including projects in the following areas: Counsel/Support to Management, Policy Administration, Pay Delivery Systems, Rewards/Recognition Systems, Benefits Administration, Workforce Goals, Recruitment and Employment, Staff Planning, Employee Development, Performance Enhancement, ADA, Disability Case Management, Organizational Change Management, Incident Investigation/Discipline, Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Meeting Facilitation, and Special Projects. HR data collection and reporting activities, data analysis and communication as required for HR activities, support for employee performance and development programs, coordination and presentation of employee information meetings, coordination of employee hiring and orientation programs, communication activities, Industrial Relations research and investigation, and negotiation and grievance process support. Requirements: Excellent communication, engagement, and diplomacy skills
in dealing with employees at all levels of the organization. Innovative and creative approach to problem solving, planning and implementation. Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities. Work effectively in a team environment with all levels of organization. Ability to create, foster and grow business relationships with management and team members. Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields from an accredited institution. Degree level education or equivalent work experience in the Human Resource field or related field.
